im 23 and have had excema since i was 10 yrs old. with the creams the doctors perscribe the excema clears up but comes back when ive used the cream up.

ive heard it means im allergic to something, eg/ dairy products, oats, nuts.
does anyone know an easy way to tell what foods it could be.

Have you seen an allergist? If so, and if it was inconclusive, you could try an elimination diet (eliminate a lot of common allergens, and then slowly re-introduce them). It is generally not reccomended to do so by yourself without proper education/supervision, but then again, many dieticians supposedly don't condone veg*nism. Of course, the 'triggers' could be environmental, or there could even be no triggers at all.

(I'm not a doctor; I've had eczema all my life and I have tried some pretty strange stuff to get rid of it).

My sister has a bad case of excema. She is allergic to fish. We found out because her face swelled up after she ate some. So, now we know she can't have any kind of fish.

With having excema it could be a number of things that you are allergic too. Have you noticed any complications from anything that you are eating?

I just wanted to add here that such complications needn't come immediately. IIRC, there can be a delay as long as 36 hours.
