I'm in the market for a new book of recipes and my husband and i want to do more raw recipes. Of course, we'll still be cooking eggs and meat (for him), but otherwise, we're looking at doing mostly raw for everything else.

what are some of your favorite raw recipe books? we can only afford one if it costs over $30. if it costs less, we may be able to get more than one!

ALSO:

best juicers? we've been in the market for a while--we've saved up $300 for new kitchen equipment (we also need a blender or a part of a blender, actually).

I love Vibrant Living by James Levin and Natalie Cederquist. You won't hear it mentioned often because it's an older book, but it's a gem - very user friendly, no strange or hard-to-find ingredients, easy and varied recipes, and a month's worth of meal plans. It's available online at Amazon. I bought my copy in the health food section of a supermarket!

I's prolly get Alissa's recipe book. As far as juicers, you can get a cheap Breville Juice Extractor that works really good & also has an extra wide feed tube that fits whole apples without having to cut them up first. It also has the very important pulp ejector. It is the best cheap juicer in my opinion. I tried a couple others & this one is my fav.

A cheap Breville Juicer? Where did you get it? The Breville one I have seen in stores is about $200! (I'm in the market for a juicer, too...but a $200 is not in my budget.)

I've seen them for less but here's one link:

Another one i'd like to get is the Champion, double the price of the Breville though:
