I personally don't think that god has any type of human characteristics, so he couldn't just "hang out" or "create the universe," but that's just how I see it.

Yes, it is not a debate because everyone has been amicable about other people's opinions. I have a feeling that someone might disagree and then a debate will break out.

No one ever said anything about religion, I didn't ask what Jesus was doing.

It is a legitimate question. If God created the universe then he had to exist before the universe. Therefore inquiring minds want to know what activities he was engaged in.
