sports bras don't fit me

I've never really found a sports bra that fits properly. My breasts are small (34A), but when I buy a small sports bra, the band is too tight. If I go for a larger size, then the band fits but the 'cups' are too large to offer any support. Any tips?

The one's with the "v" neck line which criss-cross in the front may fit better. Also full tank type sports tops with the support in the top half may fit well also.

I haven't tried the ones with the "v" neck. I have tried the full tank type sports tops, and they're even worse than sports bras. I'm pretty tall and I have broad shoulders, so I usually wear a medium or large shirt. According to the sizing charts, though, I'm a small because I have smaller breasts, so either the 'bra' portion of the top is too large or the 'shirt' portion is too small.

Yes, I've tried some without cups. They're OK, but not great.

Get one professionally fitted. Some bra shops and a few department stores have people who have been trained to fit bras properly. They'll know what brand is best for you, too. It doesn't cost any thing, they'll just try and sell you more bras is all.
