I just looked out the window and there is the neighbors' dog again! She's been coming over here all the time lately. She wants to play with our dog. We've asked the neighbors to keep her at home, but she keeps coming over here. It gets annoying to have to keep taking her back home.

Any suggestions?

We had the same problem a few years ago, sadly, that dog lives with us now because her former owners wanted to dump her at the shelter (just like they did with the dog after her, and probably the dog they have now :gun: ) so I really don't have anything helpful to tell you (unless you want another dog:) )

Take her to the city shelter. The owners will have to pay a fine, and provide proof of rabies.

Don't they want the dog?

It sounds like we're shaming the neighbors into putting up a fence. When my husband told them the dog had been pulling insulation out from under our house, they seemed very contrite.

But our dog shamed us by running over there last night while they were having a party, she was gone for hours (we didn't know where she'd gone) and was apparently having a great time playing with the kids and eating chicken scraps!

Oh my, that'd be embarrasing.

I can't say anything either as my foster dog jumped the fence two nights ago as I was ready to leave for work. The only time I've ever thanked God for outside dogs was that night because the neighbors outside dogs down the street distracted him long enough for me to catch him.
