I've gotten magazines from them in the past and never noticed any spam or anything. I'd still recommend using an e-mail address you don't use regularly though.

That sounds lovely. Too bad I've already renewed my VT subscription so many times that I've already got it for a decade.

You have to be working in an industry and job title related to the publication. I answered the survey questions honestly and was told I qualified for two publications (related to the industry I work in, aviation), publications I have no interest in. VT was not one of them.

Went back and fudged my answers to make them food-related, and it didn't work. :furious:

I've tried it before too by choosing chef or hospitality. Nothing

Me too. I couldn't get it to give it to me. It did offer me some engineering magazine though. Guess that's closer to my industry. LoL

I got a free subscription from VT, and never got one email from them. I'm really enjoying it.

I once received VT free for a year. This time when I put in that I am a teacher, it comes up with the magazine VON?? I don't even know what that is...I wonder what proffession I put in last time??

Heh. My I put in my husbands job info and he qualified for waterworld (he is a water engineer) so he will be happy.

I can't seem to find the right combination for VT though.

Are you sure it's not giving you VT? This makes it sound like you get VT and then maybe other magazines that you qualify for based on your answers...

To get your one-year subscription to Vegetarian Times (and to find out what other FREE magazines you could receive)

Positive. No VT. Very sad here.... broke right now and you had my hopes up!

Oh well. A subscription is on my list for Santa this year. I've been very good so I'm hopeful. :)

Didn't work for me either. Oh well, I pay 12 bucks for a year subscription to VT, which isn't bad at all.
