OK today I'm going to the mall (spending all day there) with my friend and some of his friends (who I'll probably hate >.<) and then I think I'm going over to his house to play video games and just crash there. Well, I haven't been over to someone's house around dinnertime since I became veggie. My friend I'm going to the mall with and over to his house knows but I think he's forgot, and I doubt they will at no notice, prepare a veggie meal for me. What should I do? Please help I leave in a half hour!

When you get there, explain to the person who is cooking that you don't eat meat, but you'll be happy to eat anything else they've prepared. Offer to help, if you're any good in the kitchen. If what you end up getting doesn't make a good meal, just make up for it tomorrow and keep in mind for next time to eat up what you might miss in the morning.

Too late now, but for future reference bringing something to eat for Plan B works well for me.

yup
best bet is to plan ahead and take something with you. if you're at the mall, prehaps you can buy something while there to take to your friend's house to have as dinner.

Good idea... try something from the Chinese restaurant at the food court, or maybe a veggie sub/sandwich. Not great options, but passable.

Yeah. Unfortunately, there will be times in your life as a veg*an that you will be forced to "make do" with whatever is available, and whatever is available will barely qualify as edible, or healthy. Not pleasant to think about, but it's true. :-/

Communication is the key here. If you don't tell him you're a veggie, then he has no way of knowing you need a meal without meat. If he's cooking, you can offer to help him.
