the only questionable things are magnesium stearate and sugar, if sugar's an issue for you.

I know that this is an old thread, but some tic tacs are not suitable for vegetarians!
The orange tic tacs (other red/orange tic tacs too I'm guessing) contain E120, which is made from crushing small bugs.

i don't like the orange ones anyway. lime is definately better. it is worth considering that ingredients may vary by country (i've seen flavours here in canada that i never saw in the UK, for a start). the orange ones do seem to have cochineal in the UK, at least.

Tic Tacs are vegan. magnesium stearate ???
Wikipedia-ing the substance comes up with this:
When used as a filling agent in the manufacture of capsules and tablets, such as vitamins, the source of this ingredient is typically bovine. However, there is an increasing number of vegetarian options in which the product specifically indicates it contains magnesium stearate from vegetable sources.
A separate website claimes it is the same as Stearic Acid, so I Wikipedia-ed that as well:
Stearic acid is prepared by treating animal fat with water at a high pressure and temperature, leading to the hydrolysis of triglycerides. It can also be obtained from the hydrogenation of some unsaturated vegetable oils.
*shrug* I guess it's only vegetarian if it's specified.

^^^ its always good to ask the company if you're not sure. the manufacturer might not specify on the label (tictac boxes are kinda small and space might be tight, they might just not think to) but it could still be fine.
