Very weird. I was particularly disturbed by the fact that these people all get together.

Seriously.
How did you find such a disturbing article?

Perforated colon? Not good. Not good at all. :(

Stumbled upon it in MSN and with a title like that I couldn't not read it.

That would be a hard thing to explain to his family. I feel bad for them.

Call me a liberal, but I do not advocate the death penalty for anal sex.
So I do not see this as justice.

But I guess society cannot totally protect someone against his own stupidity.

Nevertheless, I think the State of Washington should have a law against bestiality.

really.

Although sex with animals is not illegal in Washington state, Urquhart said that investigators were looking into whether the farm, located in Enumclaw, 40 miles southeast of Seattle, allowed sex with smaller animals that resulted in animal cruelty, which is a crime.

But did he die happy?

Sorry, but I have a particularly dark sense of humor and I'm afraid I find this rather funny. People do some damn weird things for pleasure.

I'm not sure I advocate the death penalty for anything. I think most states don't have laws againest beastiality. I'm not sure though having never done the reseach.

In America, bestiality is legal in Alaska, Arizona, Colorado, Connecticut, Florida, Hawaii, Kentucky, Louisiana, Nebraska, Nevada, New Hampshire, New Jersey, New Mexico, Ohio, South Dakota, Texas, Vermont, Washington, West Virginia and Wyoming. I couldn't find any information regarding other countries.

That may be overstating it.

This article says "Sexual contact with animals is legal (or at least not expressly outlawed) in these U.S. states: ..." (Emphasis added.)

There is significance to the parenthetical material. I recall reading that some fellow was successfully prosecuted for bestiality in one of those "no statute against it" states on the theory that bestiality is a common-law crime, so no explicit statute is needed.

I think it would be better to say that the legality of the practice is uncertain in those states without explicit statutes against it.

Funny, you kill and eat an animal it is normal, but if you make love to one, your a bad, sick, mentally unstable person.

Odd, how society works sometimes, isn’t it?

One is "natural" and the other is "unnatural". It's that simple.

Not actually. Bestiality has been practiced by various people for centuries (millenia?) for various reasons.

What a sh***y way to go. Pretty embarrassing to be remembered as the guy who died from doin a horse. Well, he's dead, so I guess he can't feel embarrassed. Still though...

Should I take this at face value, or are you making a snipe at the construction of the "natural"?

Actaully he would have been the guy that died from having a horse do it TO him.

“If you’re talking about sheep or goats, there could be some issues,” Urquhart said.

Oh yeah because thats SO MUCH worse!!!!!!
But strangly enough i do understand his point.

I'm so happy to see that Oklahoma is not on the list of states that permit sex with animals. At least we got something right......

There was a case here in Arizona that was prosecuted not too long ago involving a guy and his pictures taken to the local photo mart. I don't remember how it came out. But, even though it lists Arizona, they have prosecuted it here and he did receive some sort of penalty, I just don't remember what.

Maybe it's because Oklahoma (according to the musical) has girls "who can't say 'no.'" :D
