I see a lot of people using Roundup to kill weeds and I know it's an herbicide and is bad for the environment. Can anyone point me to a good website on this subject? I want facts to back up what I tell them. I'm having trouble finding one...any of your own points of view welcomed also. :)
Here's one article: http://www.eurekalert.org/pub_releases/2005-04/uopm-rhl040105.php
There was something about this in New Scientist recently. But somebody from Monsanto was apparently complaining that they applied too much Roundup (i.e. over the recommended dose) and that lab conditions aren't close enough to field conditions, since there is no dilution effect etc.
I don't know any specific sites on Roundup but just remembered that research.
Cheers!

thanks!! That is really sad! We have a pond with frogs and I sure hope my husband has never used this stuff. I love to hear them in the springtime--puts me right to sleep!
