Robert, I had to restart twice b/c of this while taking a look... :-)
Weird... I am encountering all sorts of problems on several sites with IE. I did a little surfing around and pages are hanging in my IE everywhere.
Yet I can go anywhere and see everything in Mozilla. Something weird is going on. I wonder if those people using Opera are having any problems viewing avatars or images?
I rarely use IE... but its strange that I can view everythng in Mozilla just fine and not in IE.

i am browsing with opera and all the pics and avatars are working fine.
Weird... Opera and Mozilla both browse everything fine. But IE will not view stuff all of a sudden on various sites.
I wonder if there's some bug or anything out... anyone heard anything?

Go to the photo album first - http://www.veggieboards.com/pics/ and then check the board. Everything is fine?

went to norton's site. A worm virus was discover on 4/7 that causes explorer.exe to become unstable. Not sure if this could be the problem.

There was another discovered on 4/9. It's a trojan that basically gives hackers full access to your pc.

I'm not sure if these are what's causing the problem. But don't trojans usually attack Explorer over other programs?? And Explorer is what we're having trouble with..hmmmm.

If you click on one of the thumbs that are showing do you see the actual full-size pic?

I think we got it.
Interesting... the problems seems to be with one image.... and when you try to view it, causes IE to hang on other areas unless you close the browser and restart.
The pic was removed and now everything seems to be fine. It appears to cause a problem in various versions of IE 5.5 and 6.0, depending on the patches and updates one has installed. Oh well, its working now again anyway.
BTW, thanks for help and input folks.

As Robert said, if you're still having problems viewing photos and avatars in IE just close and reopen your browser. I guess if and when it happens again we'll know right off what to look for.
Thanks Robert for helping with that! :)

yaaaaaaaay
:D
Sorry, guys. I think I screwed the photos up. Sorry to cause probs. When chet comes home I will have him fix the photo for the web, but I hope it doesn't mess anything else up. :( All because of my stinky face. oh well!!:)

Aw... :( It was the strangest thing but yeah, deleting that one photo fixed everything. Apparently something to do with Photoshop 7. Robert can explain it better.
Anyway, if you save a photo in Photoshop 7 you have to use "save for web" instead of "save" or "save as".
I'm only relaying what the authors of the PhotoPost software say... that PhotoShop 7 adds extra information to the images it saves. To avoid the issue, one must save photos in PhotoShop 7 using the "Save for Web" feature.
You would think that a commercial piece of software would recognize the pic as it processes it and return an alert message before actually accepting it.

Dude ... you need to work harder. Go to one of those $2 booths and do a strip of pics and scan 'em all in for us!

Do a strip in the photo booth? Oh no, I don't think you want that. :o

here's the deal. I haven't been able to view photos for days and days. I've used IE, and Opera, and still no go. no thumbnails, no pics, nothing. Every thing I try, it says, "That category does not contain any pictures". Am I doing something wrong, or is it my settings? or is anyone else having probs? I really want to see all the new pics! :(
