Think of me while you're relaxing this weekend!
This Saturday at 4am, I'll start running my first 100 mile race. The challenge early on will be to keep it slow to save energy for the rest of the race. Running at night will also be a fairly new experience; I've run with a headlamp in the dark before, but never after hours of running. I plan to do lots of walking, and finish sometime between 25 and 30 hours. It's a hilly course, so my quads will probably be trashed by the end.
