Ok I give up. I'm tired of worrying about keys, money, etc falling out of my sock or pocket. Is there a zippered armband or a "stylish" small fanny pack I can attach to me so I don't need to worry anymore?

I tie mine to the drawstring on my shorts. I also have another pair of shorts with a zippered back pocket, but I don't wear those as often.

I clip them on to my dog's leash. Its only a door key and a mailbox key, so she doesn't mind :)

If you have a wristband or watch that will fit them, you can attach them there and hold them in your fist if they start to jiggle. You can also tie them to your shoelace, but this is annoying with more than one or two keys.
Some women put them in their sports bra. I've never tried it, so you should experiment with it to see if it'll work for you.

you can get zipper pouch wristbands at sporting goods stores for cheap (Big 5, GI Joes, REI, etc).
I used to just safety pin my key to the inside of my shorts waistband. worked fine.

Well I'm a guy so the sports bra thing is out, and I value my leg hair pretty highly, so I'm going to pass on that one. I'm definitely into the zipper pouch wrist band thingies...is that how they are referred to? I'd hate it when I ask someone in a store where something is and they look at you blankly like you weren't even speaking English...

I think also make a copy of your house key and only carry that one while jogging. (Or if you have like, a button lock and a deadbolt, only lock the deadbolt and carry that key) At least it'd be less to drag around.

I always tied mine to the drawstring of my shorts too, but got a second set made that was just the door keys so i don't have to haul -all- my keys around with me (although I suppose that would add to the workout)

I bought one of those little shoe wallets that attach to the top of your shoes. It fits my driver's license and keys just perfectly. You should be able to find them at any running store.

I usually just carry mine in my hand. If I want to leave my hands free, I bring just a single key and keep it in my pocket. The shoe wallet is a good idea, though I rarely use mine.

I carry mine (which kind of sucks)...it works. I used to tie them to my shoe but I was always checking to see if they fell out...annoying!
Or, if I'm out on my long run I put them in the CamelBak...those things are great.
:nigel: Cheers.

FYI, Amazon has the shoe wallet on sale for $6.97, spend $10 and they pay for the shipping if any of you are looking...

All of you runners need to buy these: http://www.raceready.com/wldshorts/index.html
Long Distance running shorts (the link is to the womens but they have mens too). I have a few pairs of these. I usually don't actually carry much (just my keys and a gel or two on my long runs) but it is nice to have the option to carry everything but the kitchen sink. :) Lots of people have these out here.
The orginal, the easy, and the v-notch are all differnt lengths. And if you hate those type of shorts, they have the biker type shorts you can get with the pockets.

I wear running shorts, which have a little interior pouch for a key. Or I attach to my dog's leash.
Try this for a wrist pouch:

I live across the street from my gym, so I just leave stuff in my gym locker and then pick it up on the way back home. I suspect I have a pretty unique situation, however.

A lot of great ideas already in this thread but I'll give a few more:
Put your finger through the key ring and hold the keys in your hand. Only works if you have low number of keys though.
When you tie your shoe, tie your keys into the shoe (ie before you tie the knot, run the laces through the key/key ring). Works best with 1-2 keys. Just make sure you tie your shoes well (double knot).

I hide them.

I have an extra housekey on its own ring, so I just put my pinkie through the ring and hold it in my hand while I run. Or I tie it to my shoelace sometimes, but like Pseudo_Vegan said, I become obsessed with making sure it's still there. :)
