Looking for recommendations - I'm not normally a big user of salad dressing, because I'm sensitive to acidic stuff and find most of them to vinegary. But I've heard so many people rave about Annie's I'm tempted to try some, plus they're on sale at the supermarket right now!
Please help me decide which one(s) should I try (dairy ingredients OK). Here's a list: http://www.anniesnaturals.com/Merchant/Pages/nutrition/diet.htm
Anyone ever tried the Sea Vegetable Sesame? That one sounds intriguing to me.
Thanks!

Goddess Dressing. It's a condiment of the gods. We use it on salads, in burritos, as a dipping sauce for fried seitan, veggie dip, on baked potatoes, as an ice cream topping..... well, not that last one. But it is good.

I'm afraid to try any more Annie's dressings because the ones I have tried in the past were the most disguting things ever. I had Goddess (I don't understand how everyone here can rave about this, it smelled so gross I couldn't even get up the courage to taste it! My dad did try it and didn't like it.) and some sort of peanut one which I believe they stopped making. I've wanted to try the Green Garlic, but I'm too afraid...
I love their Original BBQ sauce, though.

French is good...not too vinegary. The Goddess dressing is n-a-s-t-y. It grew on me for a little while and then one day I just woke up and hated it.

:surprised I hope this never happens to me! The Goddess plays a huge role in my life! (sad, eh?)
Anyway. The Green Garlic dressing that Meatless mentioned is also good, as well as the shiitake sesame.

Goddess Dressing!
I just bought a bottle of the stuff on Saturday and I'm addicted! It reminds me a lot of the ceasar salad dressing I used to eat back in the day.

I like the French and the Tuscan one. Right now I have a bottle of the Lemon Chive and it is pretty good but a little bland. There was one other one I tried that was good but it had little chamomile flowers in it and I didn't like that too much.

Yeah I swung back and forth between love and hate on the green garlic one before deciding I love it. :p

Shiitake and Sesame... yum! It must be one of those love it or hate it things... I kept smelling the bottle even after I was done eating it because it just smelled that good, but my boyfriend took one whiff and practically gagged.

Sort of OT, but sort of not: I see that many (if not all) of the dressings have Xanthan Gum... anyone know what that is? The products are supposed to be all natural, so I'm curious.

It is a slimy gel produced by the bacterium Xanthomonas campestris, which causes black rot on cruciferous vegetables such as cauliflower and broccoli. The slime protects the bacterium from attach by viruses, and prevents it from drying out.
Gross!

Hmm... on one hand--glad it's not another chemical, but on the other hand--um, gross. Oh well... thanks AmySF!
