Somehow I got roped into being a pace group leader for my running group this year.
So... 1 mile with the whole group (we train for LA in March and start wayyy at the beginning)
Then we went back out for 10.5 miles with some other vetern runners who are training for the Las Vegas marathon in December.

Larrrrrrrr.
I'm off to the gym to do an hour of...something. It's supposed to be my "off" day but I feel like a slug and I didn't do anything Wednesday so...eep! And I have to do ab-work.
I signed up for another 5K...ahh it is next Sunday!!! :worried:
:nigel: Cheers.
ETA: 20 minutes on the bike / 45 minutes on the Ellip / ab-work...cable-crunches >_<

Ah, I haven't been on this thread in a while but I've been hamstering. Nothing too fantastic, but I am sore from practicing balance and plie/squatting moves for jazz dance almost every night.
Saturday:
90 min. dance practice (did some running, went over basic dance moves and practiced an african dance we're doing for "International Day" at my church). Phew.
Monday:
90 min. jazz dance class (60 min. dance workout and 30 min. routine reps)

Saturday: 5 miles walking and 30-minute run
Sunday: duathlon (5k run, 15 mi bike, 5k run):) The course, the people, and the weather were all wonderful. It was really great, and I want to do this same race again next year. And it's interesting to see how much more physically conditioned I am now as compared to the beginning of the year, when I did essentially the same distance-race, except now I consider it "short"
Today: 30 minutes of rollerblading and an hour of walking.
Tuesday: 6 mile run and probably some biking

Monday: 1 1/2 mile swim

My jazz dance class yesterday was AWESOME! Still need a lot of work on my flexibility to get my splits tho. I'm workin' on it. :D
Today:
60-90 min. dance practice. We'll probably be practicing this African dance, which is kinda like doing aerobics (in fitness comparison). Or may just work on a dance to this slower spanish song.
GO HAMSTERS!!

I was inspired by the thread to get back to the gym. Mostly I have been doing walking (couple days ago I walked for an hour and a half to downtown), but yesterday I went to the gym and did an hour split on the treadmill and the elliptical machine. Tomorrow I go to step class.

I wrecked my knee playing kick ball on Sun. so I couldn't run on Mon. The gals that I'm trying to help work through a marathon want to do the long run tomorrow because of scheduling conflicts, so we'll do 10 tomorrrow. I'll run 3 on Thur., and 3 on Fri., hopefully a bike ride over the weekend but we are going up-north again so I'll be doing many sorts of physical activities for sure.
FT, seeing an alpine meadow in bloom....sweet! That's my kind of weekend.
Go Hamsters!!! :bobo: :vebo: :nana: :hamster:

Yesterday: jack-squat...this "Hiking 14-ers" information session took TWO HOURS and I didn't really learn anything. Only lame stories from the speaker (which I'm sure will come in handy when I'm tumbling down a mountain side :wall: )
Today [so far]: 50 minutes of run time 15/35 split starting at 5:50 A.M.
Tonight I have upper work and abs from yesterday...
:nigel: Cheers, hammies!
