I know that we have some Bruce Campbell fans here on VB. I was wondering how many of you have had a chance to read his new novel Make Love the Bruce Campbell Way yet? I haven't read it yet, but I did read his biography If Chins Could Kill. He's doing a tour to promote and sign his new novel, and he's actually coming to Oklahoma! I'm going this Friday to get his signature on my copy of his biography, and to get my pic taken with him. :D
Anybody else met him or is going to meet him?

This has to be the first and only time that anything remotely interesting has come to Oklahoma and not to somewhere else!!! :surprised
I'll shake his hand for you and your hubby, punkmommy. :)

Was a fan until he revealed his true, money-grubbing ways to me.

Well, I went to the signing, heard Bruce speak and got my book signed. :D
I wasn't able to shake his hand, as we were pretty much moved through the line pretty quickly. I did speak to him a bit, mainly his comments about my name. He informed me that I was the second Brandon that evening, and that he had noticed that Brandon is becoming quite a popular name. I agreed with him, and he looked at me, smiled and said "A fine name for a fine man." :p
Here's a pic of my autograph, and my line pass. My sister took a pic of me talking to him, which I will post as soon as she emails it to me.
EDIT: Oh, and that's Donald Duck's butt on the right side of the pic

Bruce is the man. Why can't he come to England? ;)

Since his chin is a lethal weapon, they won't let it on a plane ;)
<--- wishes the star of Assault on Dome 4 would come to Seattle.

That's so cool Brandon! I'm so jealous, between you meeting Bruce Campbell and missleigh meeting Tom Savini! Jerks all of ya - ok, maybe not, but I still wish I were that lucky ;)

Well, we waited in line for 3 and a half hours tonight just to get Bruce's autograph. I'm officially a geek. He was a really nice guy, though. Especially considering the fact that we were #308 in line. I asked him if he was tired of signing stuff, and he said, "No way! I'm good!" He asked Ken and I what we do, and we told him that we ran an online store. He asked what kind of store, and my reply was "vegan stuff." He stopped what he was doing, looked up at us and said, "Wow! That must be hard!"
 It was pretty strange. The picture that the guy on staff took for us was horrible. You can't see our faces at all. Oh well. At least we have a signed copy of the book now.

He was nice when I met him too. You can still post the pics even though your faces don't show. The pic I posted was taken by my sister, who told the staff person that she had it covered. I look like a goon, but at least you can see my proximity to Bruce.....:)

Alrighty, here's our book and our unrecognizable picture. It's dark because it was at night, and it was inside a theatre. There was a screening of his new movie, Man With The Screaming Brain, but we didn't stay for it because we were still in line for about 30 minutes into the first screening, and the second one didn't start until 11:00. We're old people, so we can't stay up that late during the week.

You got cool, full-color line passes! Mine was a b&w mass photocopied one on colored paper. No fair!
It's funny, the first thing I thought was "Bruce's hair has grown!"
