New shoes!!

My running shoes came!!
I was a total planker for a while and jogged in totally unsuitable shoes and paid the price.
However I went out today -(I am starting from scratch in regards to speed/distance/etc) - and what a difference! I could hardly believe it. I didn't have pain or aches during or after.
I feel excited! I want to be running 10kms by next spring/summer.

It is amazing the science and technicalities that go into those shoes...while they are pretty expensive (to me...a good pair runs at LEAST $85 USD and up), they are totally worth the investment.

Better than paying to visit a doctor or physical therapist because you jacked yourself up running in bad shoes!

I was actually really lucky as I managed to get these in a sale so they had over 50% off. I only paid £30 (about 55 US$)! Well, I'm off to jog now! *zzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzooom*

Good stuff! :D I remember the first time I ran in real running shoes; what a difference. Now I buy a new pair as soon as my knees start to feel sore, or 500 km, whichever is sooner.
