I believe you can just click the quote button near the bottom right hand side of the message, like I did here. Is that what you mean?

Yep, you can click the quote button and it'll add it automatically. Or if you just want to add part of it in quotes you can copy what you want to quote and do this...

[ quote]paste the text[ /quote]

Just be sure to remove the spaces in the tags.
