Does anyone know of a chocolate soy milk (or other nondairy milk) that is made with fair trade chocolate? I tried mixing organic hot chocolate mix into regular soy milk, but it doesn't taste nearly as good as chocolate Silk...and it doesn't dissolve very well, either.

I make my own. I have a page about this here:

The easiest way to make chocolate soymilk is probably to just buy a bottle of Ah!laska syrup. It's fair trade and organic. There are a few other things you can do though:

You can easily make chocolate soymilk by mixing a couple teaspoons of cocoa with a few teaspoons of sugar. Add a little bit of soymilk and mix it into a smooth paste. Then fill up the glass and stir! I usually use two heaping tsp. of cocoa and three heaping tsp. of sugar for a large glass.

Ah!laska also makes a dry mix--make sure you get the "non-dairy" one though.

Scharffen Berger is probably the cheapest...it seems expensive, but you add your own (cheap) sugar, so it actually makes quite a lot of glasses. I even kept a record of how many servings each made.

I only use one teaspoon of sugar now, but that might be because I use a different brand of soymilk now. They all have varying amounts of sugar in them, so adjust as needed.
