recently i have lost alot of weight going vege and exercising and i enjoy eating foods in their natural state- healthier, nutritious and sooo tastey in singular form- however is there such thing as too much? i dont eat starchy vegetables like potatoes due to cognitive problems with such things but i would love to get over the last paranoid state of eating and enjoy food. please as many of u can, help me and give me lots of advice. im 5'7 and 140 pounds so i dont need to lose weight. id like to maintain. my calorie intake is about 800 cals! and i like to work out 3 times a week with a bit of weight training. hope to hear form u soon

First off, are you sure your calorie intake is 800? Did you mean to type 1800 and made a mistake? From what you've told me otherwise, eating 800 cal a day would leave you feeling very hungry and lacking in energy.
I can't give you a solid number, but you can look it up online in calculators. I would say that at least 1500-2000 to maintain is reasonable to you. What you want to do is weigh yourself, measure your hips and waist and mark that day one. Keep a diary of your daily food for a week, check to see if your numbers changed. If they did, adjust your calorie intake (up or down 100 cal) then keep track again for another week. If they didn't, then that's roughly what you need to maintain.
For advice, eat a wide variety of foods (if you focus on eating different colours, that helps you know you have a wide variety. For example: red foods like apples, red peppers and red kidney beans, orange foods like oranges and carrots, yellow foods like bananas, yellow beans, green foods like kale, avocado and spinach, etc). If you find yourself eating all one colour of food in a day, you're probably not getting all your nutrients. You need vitamins, water, good fats, protein and carbs every day, and you need to make sure that you get vitamin B12 and Omega-3s.

lol no i meant 800! thats why im worried bcos technically this means my body is in starvation mode and should have little energy when in fact i have loads. but i shall try the food diary thing:) thanku elena
You're starving yourself. Please take better care of your health. It is impossible to eat a balanced diet that has everything you need while you're eating that little.

I agree 100% with Azalea. Even on a raw diet it is easy to get at least 800 cals with bananas and nuts alone...
