My sister has a PETA Meat is Murder bumper sticker on her car. She noticed today that it was defaced- all scratched up. Has this ever happened to anyone else?

Yep I've had them stolen and ripped, my car keyed, chili dumped on my car, someone tried to steal my No Meat license plates. People are stupid.

Whoa, that stuff really happens? Every time we go to the Chinese restaurant my mom tells me I should close my sunroof because someone could dump hot tea in my car. :p
I refuse to put stickers of any kind on my car because I don't want my car vandalized.
And I was looking forward to covering my future car with hippy, vegetarian, left wing messages :(

Yes it happened to me. Pro-peace stickers scratched off, too.

It's just crazy. There are a lot of bumper stickers that I don't agree with, but I keep my hands to myself. Sheesh. :-/

Yeah, I live in the countryside and so we get a lot of countryside alliance pro-fox hunting stickers on cars around here, and they annoy the hell outta me but I would never vandalise it or the car.

my bike got stolen but whetyher or not it was because of the "one less car" sticker i had is questionable... people just like stealing bikes where i am, sigh...
I used to have a veg sticker on my old car, so if anybody scratched my car, I didn't notice. I'm afraid to put anything controversial on my car at least until it's paid off.

Someone put chicken feet around our car . . .

I feel sorry for people who could act like that over a sticker! Especially a positive sticker! Even when I ate meat I would never have keyed someones car for sporting a veg sticker... That's absurd!

Well, people feel the need to put stickers on buses, signs, meet in stores, etc, so I guess it's payback. You defaced other things, people defaced your things.
*universal you
^there is a difference b/t putting stickers on things and vandalizing cars like what vggiegirl described. that is pretty messed up and why i don't put stickers on my car. i have a hard enough time keeping my car from getting dinged constantly. some people have no respect. i'm always really careful to not ding anyone's car. anyway, that's OT, but pisses me off nonetheless. :grr: <<<just some mini-venting......

Someone covered my car in french fries, mushrooms, and onions.
I didn't have any stickers on it.
Anyone point me to a good pro-veg*n sticker I can put on my car? I don't care if it is vandalized, it's old and all the paint is coming off anyways.
hasnt happened to me yet, thankfully. my mom had those popular save our troops maganets stolen from her car so when i got one about spayin and neutering and a i dont eat anyhing with a face bumper sticker i chose not to use them in my car. right now they are just displayed in my room. not sure what to do with them

Wow. I've been known to be subversive, but the worst thing I've ever done to someone else's car is leave a snarky Post-It note next to a particularly offensive bigoted/far-right/pro-war/mainstream-bullcrap sticker. (Example: In response to "Vote Republican or learn to speak Chinese!" I'll put up "Yes! Down with linguistics!") I'd say that's along the lines of putting up stickers.
But I've heard of plenty of people who've had their car egged or keyed for displaying anti-war stickers. See the difference there?
On that note, next time I see one of those d*mn arrogant "If God didn't want us to eat animals, why did He make them out of meat?" stickers, I'm going to leave a Post-It on it.
It will read: "So...permission to eat your f***ing HEAD?"

My "John Kerry" bumper sticker was ripped OFF my car twice - but they left the PETA sticker alone, go figure...

I was always worried about that with my old car, which had a John Kerry, some peace stickers and some other liberal sayings. Nothing ever happened to it - of course, I live in Massachusetts and specifically in Jamaica Plain, where every other car has either a marriage equality sticker, or a f*ck bush sticker. My new car has none yet, but i was looking online for new ones. I think I'm getting one of those metallic darwin fish at least to start ;-)

Ditto. Plus I don't like how it looks - cluttered. But dude, don't touch my ****ing car! Ever.

I want a "If God didn't mean for us to eat babies, why'd he make them out of meat?" sticker.
When I used to drive my hippy-mobile with all the stickers on it, I didn't have too many problems. I did have some a-hole kick my car leaving a nice dent in it once while I was grocery shopping. But that's all that I know of. A small price to pay for all the times I saw people reading the stickers with intense curiosity. :)
