Yves vs. Lightlife (Smart Dogs)

So which do you like better? Which product (hot dogs, lunch meat, sausages, etc) do you like best from them? I've never bought from either of these companies and would like to try one, and try not to waste any money, lol. :D

I voted Yves although I like different products from different companies. I actually find that I like lunch meat from Tofurkey and pepperoni slices from Yves. In terms of fake meat, though, I'm a big fan of Quorn products.

We have much different tastes :D

I couldn't handle tofu dogs without losing my appetite...something about the taste just made me ...sick. I really love the smart dogs though. Their turkey is good too, although it has SO MUCH SALT. But you''ll find that with every fake meat product.

I'm a big fan of Yves. I agree about the salt amount being quite high in these types of products, but I balance that out by not including salt in other items that I eat during the day. Obviously, it's all about balance.

I found myself not being fond items that actually look like animals parts. The slices, burgers and dogs are okay, because it's man-made products. When I start getting into veggie chicken breast slices or beef, it turns me off.

Seems like a even race, I like them both myself, but will likely go with Smart Dogs for my sandwich shop in the Spring....lookin' very forward to it, things are looking pretty good so far :)

I voted for Yves but I've actually never tried Lightlife! So I can't really answer honestly. I just enjoy the Yves and truthfully haven't seen the other brand at the places I shop.

I like most of the LightLife products, especially the SmartBacon. I'm trying to eat raw these days, though.

I used to like Yves deli slices but I think they've changed something in their recipe and the bologna tastes like soap now!
Their veggie dogs are good, but I've switched to Lightlife deli slices.

I haven't eaten too much Yves, but I loooove Smart Dogs. My newest obsession with them has been to eat them raw, dipped in barbecue sauce.
