Do certain things people say or do annoy you more when you have pms? :furious:

Oh yeah! I've always gotten cranky around that time, but in the last year or so, I've started feeling put-upon. It's totally irrational and I know it, so that helps me deal with it. For example, when my husband gets undressed at night, he just drops his clothes on the floor and leaves them. 3 and a half weeks a month, this is no biggie, he does lots of things around the house, I can pick up the clothes. The other few days I get irate (only in my head, I never tell him) and imagine how, if I weren't there, he'd have this huge pile and not be able to get out of the bedroom, cause his clothes would be blocking the floor!! It's stupid stuff like that that gets me.

Honey, everything pissed me off today. I've done a pleasant move from rage to despair [now, that's progress!] so you're definitely not alone. Hugs hugs hugs, chocolate, a hot water bottle, and Law and Order [or a show of your choice].

I am generally a pretty irritable person, which I can admit, but if I get bad PMS I can be VERY irritable. But I don't always get bad PMS.

Oh my God, you guys.
I just came into work and there's a couple notes and undone tasks here that have sent me around the twist. I can't tell whether I really have cause to be upset or whether it's just the Liquid Evil talking, so I'm not really doing anything about them except roaring periodically and stamping my feet.

That crap is irritating enough when I'm NOT about to endure my womanhood...
I get really flustered when my desk is totally messy and under papers (which is tends to be) but when I come in in [sic] the mornings and there's crap on my chair and on my desk with those stupid little bright yellow post-its...

There's a note here saying, and I quote:
"Is <doing task X> your job or my job? Because sometimes you do it. I would have done it last week if I had known <Brah's Edit: Known what?>, and then I had to rush to do it this week".
So let me get this straight. You knew it had to be done last week, and you DECIDED NOT TO DO IT based on...what? My unspoken desire to work harder? If you know it needs to be done what possible difference could it make whose job it is? FTR, it is of course her job.
Not to mention the fact that they forgot to feed the fish and now the two baby fish are missing and presumed eaten. Lazy SOBs. <Roars experimentally>. I'm just going to sit here in my own gristle and curse them under my breath.

DO IT! DO IT! DO IT!
My boss will often ask me to do things/request things of me...and I have no idea what she's even talking about. So, in the time she takes to explain the situation, etc. she could have just as easily (and more time-efficiently) DONE IT HER OWN DAMN SELF.
Stuff like that...absolute counter-productivity...is such a :wall: for me...

Thanks everybody for the solidarity.
Sometimes I feel like PMS just takes our blinders off and instead of being the patient, endlessly loving goddesses we usually are we are struck with how ridiculous the world is, and most of the people in it, with unprecedented clarity. Like, the rest of the time we go out of our way to be nice and at That Time we just don't have the juice.
However, I know I won't make any friends with that attitude. And for what it's worth, I calmed down enough to address the issue above with my staff and I think everything's OK.
Grrrr...PMS.

good good :)
I feel better than I did last night. Last night was just horrible, but I just cried it out and went to sleep. I think from now one I just want to seclude myself the few days that its really bad and not talk or be around anyone. Its not always possible but it may save me from losing it over something tiny because i'm already on edge.
