Skipped the long run for today. I feel a little guilty about that but I haven't skipped a long run in a long time.
I walked the dog for about a mile though.

45 minutes elliptical, 1 hour bike ride, 1/2 hour trampoline.
Today after I go to sleep, I will go to bjj practice in the Morning! I'm feeling so lazy, soo I better go! After, I'll go to Bally to lift weights. (Hopefully)

:wall: I. feel. slothful.
This weekend I did little to nothing...Saturday I did some ab-work and 30 minutes on the Ellip...but no run.
Sunday I ran...for 10 minutes...and then my running partner for the time was hacking crap up from his month-long nicotine binge ( :notvegan: ) so we just walked for an hour or so...
Today is lower work and I didn't get up this morning to run so I'm thinking an hour on the Ellip...why can't I find the motivation to get my miles back up?!?

No dance practice on Saturday :( so I got up early anyway and jogged/walked for about 30-45 min. :D It was fun and the trail was really nice. Also did some ab and leg work over the weekend.
More ab and leg work tonight :)

Sunday was rest, I needed it. Walked about 3 miles.
Today I ran 4 miles and biked 18miles, and did a bunch of core strengthening. There's another duathlon that I think I want to do in the beginning of July...not sure whether I should do thator a 10K around that time. I have a few weeks to decide :D

Yesterday was a 3 mile swim.
Today was an 8 mile run.
I might do some abs and back strength stuff later.
So I went to the bike shop today to look at bikes. I think I'll buy one at the end of this week. Woot!

I haven't exercised in quite a few weeks - musical performances, end of semester madness, and illness all colliding with each other. Now that things have calmed down and I've sorted my diet out, I'll be going to the gym more! :hamster:
Went yesterday - 20 mins on the bike, 20mins on the treadmill, 10mins on the elliptical trainer and a few weights and abs work. Owwwww, my muscles.

Lotta walking today.
1 mile walk to the pool (it was a walking field trip)
about 5 hours of off and on swimming, mostly dog paddling and splashing (students managed to drag me in)
1 mile walk back to school
1 mile walk with the dog
Dang, I can't believe how busy I am again between work and everything else it's hard to find time to sit down here. But even though I haven't posted for a while I have been a busy Hamster. I started running with a small group from my exercise class on Mon, Wed, and Fri. I guess I helped to inspire one of them to run a marathon so we are going to train together :vebo: for a fall one. Anyhoo, I ran last Mon, Wed, and Fri 6 miles and the week before that we ran 4 each day. Sun. I ran five, went for a swim, and I also kayaked around the lake, it's not to big, about 400 acres, and we joined a kickball team and had our first game last night...it was fun but I'm a little sore. I want to go biking but I got a flat tire and I don't have a spare inner tube. I need to make a trip to the bike store. I will also start evening cardio karate on Wed and Thurs. and I have a 5K I'm looking forward to next weekend. Yikes, no wonder I don't have time to post.
Nice to see you Michael, Freshtart, Shadowlee!!! :hi:
Captain, you're great! don't ever feel guilty about taking a little time to relax.

ow. marathon training is not happening. I had surgery on my hand AND my shins hurt like mad last week so I had to cut out my weekend runs and now my baby toenail is coming off (ow ow OW!). humph.
No worries, though. I've still got 50 good years of potential marathon running in me. I did a 30 minute workout tape today!
vegetable- great job! TWO 10ks? That's awesome!
slynny- wow!! you've been a busy girl! All of your activities sound like so much fun! great to hear from you!
Captain- After all the half-marathons you've been running you deserve a little break :D. You're puppy is SO cute!! That's so cute that your husband won't let you take him ouot on 10-milers :p
anna- nice work! I was just about to ask you about your dualathons!!
cyk- what exactly is bjj? :dunce:
CountessK- way to go! I <3 the elliptical machine!
Great job Deathtart :p
Yay! Michael has joined us! Good job on those miles!!
ND- good luck on choosing a bike! Keep us up to date on which one you choose! :)
Shadowlee- nice work! Good to see you back!
Virtue- sorry about dance class  great job on your workout!
and Pseudo! Don't worry about losing miles! you're doing a great job hamstering! You've been working hard, your body may be telling you you need a rest!
annnddd...I'm out! (it's 3 am)

Captain, slynny, vegetable, and Brownie...truly, my hats off to you :wayne: You all do more races and running on the weekends than I do in a week! :sealed:
...I think I should probably just kick my butt into signing up for another 5K so I have something to push towards (it's not a marathon, I know, but it's a start for me)...
At any rate, sorry for all the self-defeat and negativity lately...I tend to be really hard on myself...thinking that I can somehow "beat myself" into submission or something. Beh. So I'll try to keep it in check...everyone's doing great with ALLL the hamstering
Yesterday after work I went to the gym and did lower work + 60 minutes on the Ellip
This morning I was out the door by 5:45 and did 50 minutes of running...after work is abs stuff...w00t
:nigel: Cheers, y'all!

I went for a walk today. >_> It was only a half hour one, too. I'm not sure why I'm not more motivated to work out.

4 mile fast run, about 4 mile walk (1 hour), and weights/calisthenics.
I so want to run more...but I've been instructed not to...but I plan longer runs for Friday and Saturday when I'm allowed (or rather, not monitored). The school trainer that I go to for the calisthenic stuff tells me I should have taken at least 2 weeks off after each duathlon I did :sealed: I took like 2 days off after those. But I figure if I feel okay it's no big deal to go for longer runs when I don't have to tell the trainer about them. Enough of my ramblings :p
Long story short, I'll be running more distance probably next week :D
cyk- what exactly is bjj? :dunce:
Hehe, It tis my favorite martial art! ... Short for brazilian jiu-jitsu... I just wish I was better at it! I guess I'm to lazy to type the whole thing.. :D
