Four-legged chicken in Romania
A Romanian farmer is hoping to make a fortune after a chicken was born with four working legs [1-Jun-2005]

This makes me think of 6-row barley. Barley comes in two forms, 2-row and 6-row, depending on the number of rows of seeds. 2-row is natural barley, and fairly high quality. Most quality beers only use 2-row. 6-row is the cheap stuff, and was bred specifically for beer making, as it has 3 times the number of grains. Most crap beer uses some 2-row, but alot of 6-row to keep costs down.

Somehow, I never saw this idea being expanded to include members of the animal kingdom. What next, 20 foot long pigs bred for lots of extra ribs?
