Here I go trying to find a shampoo again, I should just shave my head and get it all over with.
Anyway, I know I want a Tea Tree Shampoo but I don't want it to be too strong and tingly to irritate my scalp (I have very sensitive skin).
Can anyone recommend a shampoo that doesn't sting like crazy and that is not tested on animals?

I know Paul Mitchell makes a tea tree line. I haven't tried it, but it might be worth a look, they make a lot of quality products.

Have you tried J/A/S/O/N's tea tree shampoo yet? I haven't tried it yet, but I will eventually. It claims to soothe irritated scalps, so it must be ok for sensitive skin... it's so cute, it has a little Koala on the bottle :D

Arbonne's Anti-Flake shampoo has tea tree oil in it. It's really wonderful. I'd be happy to send you a sample if you'd like. :)

Paul Mitchell Tea Trea line is excellent. It doesn't burn or sting at all (unless you get it in your eyes).

Thanks for all your suggestions, I read somewhere that the Paul Mitchell Tea Tree Line was stingy, but if you say it doesn't burn I'll give it a try.

I'll have to consider Jason's too (the Koala IS cute!!), and I heard somewhere that Nature's Gate was good. Any experiences with Nature's Gate?

SallyK, thank you so much for your offer, I would gladly take that sample if I was going to be home, but since I'm travelling all around the US and never stay more than a couple of days in the same place I don't have a permanent address for you to send it to. I sure appreciate the offer though!

I've used Nature's Gate and it's very mild like the rest of their shampoos.

If you're using it to try to prevent flakes, though, it doesn't do a very good job unless you follow it with a conditioner to keep your scalp moisturized.

Yea, I have some flakes and a very complicated dry-oily-curly-flat-flakey hair. So, it looks like Nature's Gate might not do it and Paul Mitchell might be my best bet.
I'll wait a couple of days for Jason's Tea Tree shampoo reviews and then I'll try PM.
Thanks for all your help everyone!
