Hi, I'm new here. I recently found a pesto recipe that is nutritious and versatile. I thought I would share it with you.
4-Garlic cloves
1/3 cup of sunflower seeds (cystein)
1/3 cup of pumpkin seeds (zinc, magnesium)
2 cups cilantro, parsley (vit. A )
2/3 flaxseed oil (I used olive)
4 Tbls. of lemon juice
dash of sea salt.
1/3 cup of brazil nuts (selenium) -I left this out
You can eat it with veggies and I also used it as a sauce with brown rice pasta.
