A friend sent me the link to these guys, looks really good, even that wild looking pate makes me hungry! Anyone had Fieldroast stuff?

I've tried the thin sliced field roast several different times, and wasn't to excited about it. The texture was ok, but I wasn't a fan of the spices they use. The herbed chao cheese looks pretty yummy though.

Hmmmm, I should check these out, maybe make the drive to Princeton, closest location to me, there's a veggie deli in the Whole Earth Center there, some very good, albeit pricey, stuff...of course it is Princeton, not the most inexpensive place in the world.

The herbed chao cheese is awesome. I tried it last month at Vegfest. I passed their table a couple of times before I realized that the cheese samples were vegan. That was some good eatin'. It tastes very much like a good spreadable herb cheese. I'm still looking for a place to buy it though.

I'm still not quite feeling the love for the field roast. Perhaps I haven't used it in the right dish yet. I tried the whole roast last Thanksgiving. The flavor just didn't do anything for me.
