Also, my brother said that at his girlfriends school he went to the vegetarian line("only because it was shorter" says he who eats a lot of meat), and he got this wrap with peanut butter, jelly, banana, honey, and some other kind of nuts. It sounds so good I think i'll have to try to make it sometime.
mmm... peanut butter.
I'm all for the natural peanuts-only stuff as well. I grew up with it & I remember my brother & I begged for the Peter Pan stuff when we were little because we liked the commercial & when my mom finally broke down and came home with it we couldn't *stand* it because it was so sweet & nasty. Blech.

ok i had to come back and add on to my post about Marantha organic peanut butter, i went to Costco this weekend to get some, and it's 6.97 for 2 26 oz jars. *shriek* thats less than cheap jiff stuff!
I also get better n' peanut butter from trader joes, it's not as good as real peanut butter but i don't have a good sense of taste anyway.

Right now I've got skippy crunchy reduced fat but it's a little too sweet so I think i'll have to go back to Jif crunchy reduced fat.

I buy the grind your own stuff at the health food store, or if that's not accessible, I buy the cheapest all-peanut brand I can find. I prefer creamy, but like crunchy too. I eat it alone by the spoonful, on PB&J sandwiches (on whole grain bread with all-fruit jam), and on apples. I also use it in Asian cooking sometimes. My favorite is cold sesame noodles. Just mix together peanut butter, soy sauce, ginger, garlic, and a little hot sauce, and mix it with your noodles of choice and plenty of sesame seeds. Yum! How I love peanut butter...
