I finally got the opportunity to eat there today for lunch. Yum! The menu is omni, but very veg*n friendly. I got "One for John," a grilled brown rice-mushroom burger with soy cheese, avocado, tomato, onion, sprouts on a wheat bun. I couldn't taste the cheese at all, so they could have just left it off. The bun was really delicious, and the tomato was beautiful! The menu says it has herb mayo too, but mine was without. It comes with fries, but I really wanted to try the garlic mashed potatoes, so the server checked and they had some available. Burger - yummy; mashed tater - so/so.

They serve breakfast until 5 pm, which both of my omni coworkers ordered. One ordered the "Glorified Omlette," which was fresh spinach, swiss cheese and mushrooms. It looked so good. My other coworker ordered an omni breakfast, "Austin Tacos," which I had considered ordering without the bacon.

I loved the colors and the abstract art work that decorated the place, and threatened my boss that I was just going to stay there the rest of the afternoon instead of go back to the office. I spent $11 after tip on lunch. I'm looking forward to going back with the kids even.

I think they have half-price Tuesday nights or something like that. At least they used to. I have eaten there 4-5 times but have only walked through once to use the restroom so I didn't see much because I was pretty focused on my mission. :p We sat outside every time. Very cool sitting out there if you have young 'uns.

ETA. I am not sure I was in Addison. Is there another in Dallas? The one I went to has an outdoor play area.

I went to the one in Dallas once. I remember it being tasty, but I don't remember what I had!

I think the Addison location is fairly new. I've only been in this area (from Denton) about a year, so I've never eaten at the Dallas one. This does have a little slide outside too.

Thanks for the heads up! I haven't tried that place and I've been around the Dallas area for a few years now (shame on me!).

If you live in the Dallas area, check out vegetariandallas.com. We always try to review local places, have potlucks and other fun stuff.
