I'm on the hunt for a nice fetishy black "leather" corset - the real kind with the steel bones and the big BDSM-style buckles and laces and such, that requires a friend with strong arms to get you into it properly. :ymca:
I can only find them in real leather. I have contacted a few places that make really nice leather stuff and asked if they would custom make one in ultraleather and been turned down every time, even when I've offered to track down and supply the fabric myself. Darnit!
I DON'T want one made out of satin or cloth, as a few places have tried to suggest. I want the real deal, just with no dead animals involved. Ultraleather, ultraleather, ultraleather!! NO pvc or plastic - too hot and nasty.
Anybody have any ideas for me? Links, leads, clues...?
I have found a local costumer that is willing to *try* to make a corset for me, but she's a renaissance costume maker, and not really used to making this type of thing. I'd rather find someone who is more experienced with this style, since it's probably gonna cost me a small fortune, and it has to be more "structurally sound" than the costume bodices she's accustomed to making. I'd hate to pay a ton to have her make me something that's going to tear apart as soon as the laces get tightened!
