I am oozing with excited energy right now...or maybe it's the coffee...
But I'm so excited for this summer...I'm looking into more races and methinks, if I can "work up" to it in a couple of weekend backpacking trips, I'm going to attempt a 14-er this summer. If not that though, definately lots of hiking about and camping.
:nana:
I was able to score a really good price on a gym membership through a friend, so I'm going to continue with my weight-training, maybe pick up a class or two (yoga!!), and increase/refine my cardio routine.
I also hope to go on a rock-climbing adventure!
Who else has exciting plans for this summer?
:nigel: Cheers!

well, i'm totally psyched that i'm back into swimming. I hope to up my distances and speed in swimming, continue to learn to rock climb, improve in my yoga, and perhaps actually consider running or cycling for real. i'm not fond of road biking, but there are many nice paved trails in our area . . .so it's worth considering.
i'm also excited because i may get to use a client's beach house for free for a week! if so, i may be able to learn to surf during that week. We'd only have to pay for food and gas--and since it has a kitchen, food will cost very little. I"m so excited about this opportunity!

I'm actually excited about this winter/coming spring because I have time off from university for a semester and I'm going to kick my own ass into shape with that time. I want to cycle lots (at least 50mi a week), get my running up to being able to do a 5k, hit the gym and buff up a little and do a lot of flexibility work too. Oh, and I'm going to finish breaking in my horse!! I can't wait!!!!

I'm looking forward to a few duathlons this summer, and hopefully a 10k and/or half-marathon...I'm excited for those :)

Yay! This is a fun thread.
My plans and goals aren't as H4RDC0R3 as the rest of yours (eps. Krista :p ) but I'm still excited.
I bought rollerblades for the first time yesterday, and I can't wait to go out with those. I also really want to go hiking a few times this summer, and I really want to go white water rafting or kayaking.

Wow, those would be great times! I'm running a 5k in a couple weeks, and I'll be happy to break 23. I get nervous before these short races, because they're so intense! My H4RDC0R3 race is in July, the Vermont 100 mile race. Then the rest of the summer will be very non-H4RDC0R3. :D

Usually I don't do much over the summer, but I've decided that I'm going to run cross country in the fall (even though I've never done it before), so I'll be doing some H4RDC0R3 training (well, compared to my usual activity level). I'm excited. Yeah, running!!!!
