So, any fans?
She's probably my all time favourite artist! Every album is a stunning new journey and endlessly relistenable. She's also the most beautiful woman I've ever seen!
What are you're favourite albums, tracks, videos, moments etc
Appreciate the Queen of all things here!

It's amazing :D I have all her dvds. Her videos are beautiful, truly some of the best combos of images and music! Her live stuff is awe insiring too, sends a shiver down my spine seeing her sing Jóga live :smitten:
I think shes recently released all her dvd's in two £40ish box sets, well worth the cash imo :D

I do enjoy Bjork. At least a good third of the reason I want to get this (http://www.amazon.com/exec/obidos/tg/detail/-/B00065AXTM/qid=1115749472/sr=8-2/ref=pd_csp_2/103-0985274-5427823?v=glance&s=dvd&n=507846) is to see all her cool videos whenever I want.

i'm a fan and i got all her videos because she's worked with equally brilliant directors (cummingham, jonze, gondry). hell i'm a pretty big fan of matthew barney and all things icelandic are pretty cool in my book.

Bjork! I love Bjork!
I had the great good fortune to attend a concert of hers in San Francisco in 2003. AWESOME show, really really REALLY good!! One of the best concerts I've been to.
There are very few of her songs that I don't really enjoy. I sure wish I could sing half as good as she does, hehe. Her newest album (Medulla...did I spell that right?) seemed a little odd at first but now it's really growing on me.
I love listening to her speak, too. I adore accents anyway, but accents that adorable coming from a woman that adorable are the best.
My hubby has this really beautiful poster of Bjork nude in the woods, holding these big leaves to cover her "naughty bits". She looks like she's some kind of elf or fairy...definitely otherworldly. Really beautiful.

If I was forced to turn into one celebrity, I would turn into Bjork. I don't like every song of hers, but she's always doing something original.

So lucky! I'd love to see her live, I've watched and heard all the live stuff shes released (and some bootlegs) and it's all so good! Visually her shows look amazing too :D

Yeh it is a bit odd. Very unique and definitely a grower. I find alot of her more recent stuff an aquired taste. I remember when I first heard Vespertine it left me a bit cold but it's now up there in my top ten albums ever!

TOTALLY agree! I could listen to her read the phone book and it would melt my heart :smitten:

I love Bjork too :smitten:
I think Vespertine and Homogenic are my two faves of hers, and Vespertine definitely ranks among "OA's all-time favorite CDs".
I still haven't gotten used to medulla yet, but the time will come when I will think, "how did I ever not like this CD?!"
She is a brilliant musician and one of the things I admire about her is what eggplant has already mentioned - she is always doing something different, always stretching herself to do something new. If there is something that bores me with some musicians, it is that they find something that works for them and never challenge themselves to move beyond that.
And I would do anything for the self-confidence she has, to show up at an international gala in a swan dress :D

Totally agree! To me she's a complete artist. Aswell as her music all her videos, photo shoots, album art, clothing etc all fit together perdectly. It seems like everything she does is part of this one big piece of art known only as Bjork :D
