A couple days ago I was at the grocery store, and I noticed that most progresso soups are labeled either "vegetarian" or "non-vegetarian." That's really awesome that progresso does that, because it's one of the few major brands that i've seen label their products so we don't have to read the entire ingredient list! :)

If only they would label their soups "vegan" and "non-vegan" as well.

Many of their soops seem to contain "natural flavor." I'd like to know what that is, with more precision. It could be yeast. Or it could be the same "natural flavor" that McDonalds used to use in their "vegetarian" french-fries -- vegetable oil with some kind of beef product in it, I think it was.

Or maybe its cheese extract?

By the way -- I like to read the entire ingredient list anyway. The non-animal natural origin of ingredients is not the only thing I'm concerned about. I don't want to be eating hydrogenated vegetable oil, or hydrolized plant protein, or texturized soy protein, or yeast.
