5 mile run and 10 mile bike yesterday, also about 4 miles of walking. Rest day today, just some light walking and pushing a kid in a swing (for like a half hour :p ).

This is a bit late, but I just got home last night. On Saturday, I ran a 100 km race in Toronto. My time was 13:21:25. Now I'm in recovery mode. Yeah, recovery!

If you're interested in details, here's my race report: http://www.coolrunning.com/forums/Forum30/HTML/000633.shtml

Mark, you are awesome. :wayne:

And you know what? I've been reading your posts on coolrunning for a couple of years now. I didn't put two and two together until now but I have always liked lurking in the ultra forums for inspiration.

Hello everyone! I'm hopefully going to get back to posting here with some type of regularity now that school is over for the summer. I have been hamstering, but not spending a ton of time on VB.

So yesterday I played 2 hour long soccer games. Today I took it easy because I am really sore! I hadn't played soccer in like 6 years! I'll stretch a bit before bed.

As some of you know, I missed my doctor's appointment yesterday due to an accident. But I still managed to do some stretching, situps and pushups last night. :)

Today I have a 60 min. dance practice. I'll do the best I can and probably do some more stretches and situps tonight.

Mark... :nana: ... :wayne: GREAT JOB!

I attempted a time-trial last Saturday, but messed up the map so that didn't go so well... :sealed:

Yesterday I did lower-work and a FOR REAL time-trial (correct map and all!) and ran the 5K trail in 26:50!! :nana:

You can laugh, it's okay. But I told myself I'd be happy with 28 minutes so...that's good for me. So between now and Thursday I have to run it straight through (I had to stop briefly last night twice)...

:nigel: Cheers, hammies!

Great job! I bet on race day that time will be even faster.

3 mile run yesterday, should've been more but I started feeling all freaky-dizzy so I cut it short...I was probably just dehydrated or something. Ran a little over 6 miles this morning, though.

Yesterday I did upper work...

Went to do the 5K trail out-and-back, but from my house to the start it dropped like 10 degrees and the wind picked up...so I went and ate Thai food instead :D

(Weather's nicer today though, so it's GO time :whip: )

:nigel: Cheers!

Today... I walked to Panera and back (about 4 miles total), probably an hour or so of yoga later

My legs are feeling kind of crappy still.

Here's my week thus far, and due to my Graduation tomorrow and Saturday, it will probably be all until Sunday.

Monday: 4 miles running
Tuesday: 4 miles running
Wednesday: 8 miles walking.
Thursday: 4 miles running.

From 5/1 to 5/12 I've knocked 7 minutes off of my 4 mile run time. Today I put in 2 minutes of sprinting too, which I haven't done before. :D I was surprised I could move that fast!
