I was a good girl yesterday: I did an hour of yoga at home, then went for a run. Now my back hurts! Some of those yoga exercises were frikkin' hard on my totally out of shape back muscles. (I've had a bad back for years). But hey, if anything'll fix that, it'll be yoga.
Kinda sad though when you realise you can't even sit up straight if it means your legs and back are 90 degrees to one another. The sitting down exercises were the hardest part for me. :(

I have really short hamstrings too. I can't touch my toes without bending my knees!

I'm soooo stupid!
Gah.. I was at the grocery store today, and after checking out, the bag boy offered to push my cart out for me, and as usual I refused - and right afterwards I noticed he was damned cute! Damn damn damn... Next time I look before refusing!

Just booked my vacation to South Padre, found an excellent resort that was for $170 per night and found a deal on the net I reserver for $100 per night. Oceanview, with full kitchen and 60 miles of beach to 4 wheel around on. I'm pumped! Time to break out the thong!!

Ugh... Bailey (cat) got out yesterday last night and came home at 5:30am. The poor baby had 12 cuts, lost a tooth, and was filthy. I took him to the vet, he needs an x-ray and a FIV test in 2-3 months. Poor little guy is on anti-biotic, scared, and slept all day.
Seventy bucks! I used my grocery shopping money for the cat, and since my mom drained my bank account, seems like I'm going to start my fasting whether I want to or not. Not good, since I was trying to increase my daily calorie intake. :(

Avalon: What kind of yoga do you do? I've been interested in it for a while, and been considering adding it to my exercise program. But, I'm unsure what tapes are any good... have any suggestion?

I hope he's neutered.

Sadly, he isn't. I been broke because my mom drained my bank account and borrowed most of the Christmas money I received. I was planning on using that money to get him neutered.
It doesn't look like he got any booty last night, looks like he got his ass kicked by another kitty.

We've been trying to replace our elderly toilet and washbasin which are a shade of pinky brown with new white ones today. Neither of us know anything about plumbing in toilets...
On the bright side, the floor has never been washed so often in one day.

70 bucks isn't bad though, my neighbour's cat got out and got killed by two dogs, so hey a busted tooth is dealable.

That's horrible!! Poor kitty. :(
Yeah, 70 bucks isn't that bad. It's going to be the follow up:
Walking through the door: 32 bucks
FIV Test: about 70 bucks
X-ray: around 50 bucks
Distemper: 8 bucks
Neutering: about 80 bucks
Possible procedure to remove the root of the tooth: who knows?
Waking up and cleaning up cat piss or knocked over plants: Priceless
She took all my money because she can't manage hers. I doubt she has much extra to give to me for shopping (and my cats need food first, got to pick some up tonight), and I'm going to need at least $250 of what she owes me in a couple of months. Although, I think she should pay all medical expenses for Bailey, since she was the one who let him out, and didn't go get him.

While I don’t have in-depth information I can’t judge the situation, but get the feeling something is seriously “wrong”.
Have you considered opening a “secret” account so you mum cannot access your money??????
It all sounds a bit “unfair” to say the least.

The replumbing of our cloakroom slowly continues.
I decided to do landfill (bury it in the earth) on the old toilet and washbasin. I went into the garden clutching my hammer to find the chickens asquawking and aflapping. "I'm not going to hit you, you silly old hens" I said, but still they squawked around my feet. I looked up, and there on the terrace, two foot away from my eyes, were the brown eyes of a fox. He looked at me and I looked at him. For two seconds the world froze.
"Clear off" I yelled, and waved the hammer at him. He sat down. I could have touched him. I yelled and waved, my husband came running out.
"Be quiet, I've never seen the fox up so close" he said.
So we all stayed there quietly for a minute until the fox stood up and licked his lips. The hens were shooed into their shed and I chucked a piece of chalk at the fox, which missed and he mistook for food and sniffed at. He's very beautiful.
Then I dragged the china to the bank and smashed it up. I caught my hand on a mean thorn branch and I'm dripping blood now. And still we have no water. I shall be forced to drink neat gin. ;)
