For Gazumper and VeganKat (as well as any other interested parties), there is a program called IParty that I have used in the past to voicechat with various friends. It's free, and while the quality is not quite as good as what you'd get on the telephone, it's not bad at all.

It might be worth checking in to, anyway. ^_^

it's not the avatar itself that creeps me out, as i rather enjoy 'the dark side' as you call it ;) (i'm a wierdo) but just coming from him it seems wrong, like something's wrong. it's far too gloomy and kinda worries me

Well, I've heard rumors of something being not quite right in his life, but you'd have to ask him yourself. Certainly most people go through gloomy moods, and that might be all it is.

But enough talking about other people.

Tonight I'm going with people from my college's writing lab staff to a blues bar tonight (the director's idea)... does anyone have a favorite blues song, just in case they're taking requests?

Food... I wanna eat! Fortunately, a friend of mine shared some crackers and hummus with me an hour or so ago, but I'll have to wait to really eat until we get to this blues bar tonight. The director said the hostess told him at the time we're to arrive, it's usually quite dead in there. I'm hoping that means my eating experience won't be ruined by smoke wafting around my plate.

smoke sucks, i realized on my way to my interview that the pants i was wearing reeeeeeeeeek of smoke from wearing them to the bar one night, i forgot that they hadn't been washed yet. they're otherwise clean, just smelly. luckily the interviewer didn't seem to notice

As it happened, there was very little smoking going on near me. There was enough distance and air movement to keep the smoke away from me most of the time. And I've decided I really don't like feta cheese.

Now it really is bedtime. I know there's interesting stuff going on in muh hahaha, wo/men of VB, and the crush threads, but I'm not going to look tonight.
