They tried several times. Of course, they won't give me any info over the phone. They do go to the waiting area and check for him but so far I keep missing him. They won't take my number or a message either to give to him. I don't blame them. They have more important things to do I suppose. I keep trying. I'm bound to find him. I've tried to find out what church he's at but Uncle Joe doesn't know. I feel so helpless and useless.

heh. i was so thrilled that i got my GST refund the other day, $250 hurrahhhhh, it's all gone already. we went out for dinner saturday and my bf said if i paid he'd pay me back on payday which is friday, so i did. then i took out cash to blow at the bar that night. and now the bf has taken all but $9 from my account to pay his registration fee for a bike race this summer, but promised he'd pay me back on friday.
ok no biggie, but i was going to go to the store today and get some FOOD!
that's ok, i can live off noodles for a couple of days i guess. and let's just hope the bank doesn't decide it's a good time to take out their rediculously high service charges.

tsk i knew i shouldn't have given him full access to my account ;)
on the plus side someone at the bank called and left a message for him and the fact that she couldn't pronounce his name kind of amuses me.

you're doing all you can just keeping him in your thoughts. he has family there with him and people taking care of him, really there isn't anything else that you could do unless you've been holding back on us and are actually a doctor :) so don't make yourself feel bad over it, just be patient.
you could try calling around to a few of the churches and ask if your uncle's staying there. and heck while you've got them on the phone you can ask them for their prayers :)

can i suggest a seperate thread or even a whole new forum for the philosophy stuff? not everyone understands what you guys are talking about, and not everyone wants to ;)
just seems like a pretty meaningful topic for the meaningless thread if you know what i mean :)
