I'm thinking that I'll apply to the PhD programs in philosophy with a couple of MPA programs as back-ups. There's almost no chance I'll get into a philosophy program, so I could very likely be at Evergreen for the Summer quarter 2004. Oh, sorry. For some reason I didn't see that one. Yeah, I believe he'll need work done on his face..especially reconstruction on his nose. Too bad to. Like I said in an earlier post, he looked like Luke Perry. He doesn't have insurance (yikes!) I found out this weekend that both his legs are screwed up. Fortunately, they didn't need to amputate. He's still out of it too. Not coherant at all. My uncle (his dad) has been staying at the hospital pretty much. They've been really great. My uncle lives about a 30 min drive from the hospital. And he's unemployed (on social security for Black Lung from the coal mines). So, he doesn't have much money for going back and forth to the hospital. He's been staying at the one of the churces there in town. They set up a cot for him so he'd have somewhere to sleep at night.

There's been so many stories back and forth about what's happened. Now I hear that the guy that hit him didn't die and is in intensive care too. We're hearing all of the info we have through my dad's other brother, who is hearing it from someone else, who is hearing their info from yet still someone else. So no wonder the info is screwy. Anyhow, I hope it's not as bad as we've heard. :( I just wish I knew for sure, or could at least get hold of my uncle.

Yes. and she's been hanging around all day :). So that makes three kittens that I'm luring away from their rightful homes :D
And I'm working on a 4th one, tabby and white, it's here every day but it won't come in the house.

mine has taken up shredding toilet paper while i'm in the shower. he absolutely MUST be in the bathroom while i'm in the shower and normally just sits and waits for me to get out, but lately he'll get bored, sit on the toilet lid and spin the TP roll til it's all in a pile on the floor. i caught him doing it once and the look of concentration on his face had me cracking up. hard to scold when you're laughing your butt off
