I think its the whole American pro-wrestling thing.
On that subject, isn’t it weird how Americans Spell?
mum, colour, Honour. (get it now?)
So what beside English do you know?

Actually, Americans spell mom, color, honor. Yep, I'm sneaking on while I have my morning coffee at work. I too can't resist, even in the busiest of time. I ask myself every once in a while, what the heck is wrong with me??? Maybe it's adult attention deficit disorder or something..hehehe or maybe it's just the thought of the coming of summer and I have spring fever. Who knows...anyhow, good morning!

I always wanted to learn German. My grampa Came form Germany, married, had Kids, then left for Germany again. For all I could gather, he wasn’t a very nice man . . .

Why?

It's short for mother. I'm thinking I wouldn't spell mother like muther (shortened to be mum) unless I was being slangish and intended to say muther eff-er. I guess that's where we get the spelling from....

If I could speak French like I can English I would do that too.
But in French it's almost limited to:
Two of those please.
How much ?
Then I'll have to watch the register to see what I have to pay because I can hear what they are saying.
They don't say 80, but something like 4 x 20.......

Yeah, some folks call it autumn and some call it fall here. It all depends on what part of the country you are in for the most part. Like take the classic is it 'pop' or is it 'soda' or is it a 'soda pop' or is it a 'coke'. Depening on what part of the US you are in, it could be any one of those.

It was really good. I had the best Berry Long Island Ice Tea and grilled veggie burger with steamed onions and portabello's on a tosted kaiser bun. MMM.....

Yeah, down in the south, if they ask you if you want a 'coke' and you say yeah they'll ask you what flavor. In some parts of the south, 'coke' is defined as 7-up, Dr. pepper, cream soda, pepsi, sprite, etc...what ever is a carbonated beverage. I've always found that strange. Here in northern Ohio we call if 'pop'.

I wish I could stay, 1vegan! I've actually gotta run to a quick meeting. Yep, it definitely has been a while. I was, ahem, admonished at work recently for my "heavy activity" on websites supporting "chat mechanisms," so that's why I've been hanging low lately. I sneak on when I get a chance. I MISS BEING ON HERE MORE REGULARLY. :( I can check at home, but with the weather being so nice here lately, I've been out until late each night...then I have to do dinner, clean up after dinner, and by then I'm just flippin' exhausted...
I miss you guys, though. :)
