That would ruin the fun. ;)
It's kind of a chat thread. By the way, you need to read your pm's. :)

So yeah... I went to an evening of fun and games with other commuters at my school. I had a blast, and I think this is about the fifth time in my life that I've played video games. I didn't do too badly, I suppose, but the people were nice about it since they knew I had no idea what I was doing.
I laughed a lot, talked with a bunch of people, and overall did not worry about school or work. Ah, thank You God for evenings like this!

Michael,
I was doing other things at the time, too. It only takes like half a second to type in a word and hit "submit reply".

1am, That Alpaca Guy. I can never go to sleep right after I get home from being out. I have to wind myself down somehow first. I really should go read something boring like my stats textbook, but I don't feel like torturing myself.
If I picked up my philosophy book (one by René Descartes) I would stay up much too late. I tell you, Descartes is FASCINATING!

I pity you! Its 5:07pm here and I’ve had a pretty full day!
I don’t think I've ever read anything from Descartes, what he like?

Misguided in retrospect, but for his day, brilliant.

I went through the whole day thinking it was Saturday.

René Descartes is considered by most to be the founder of modern philosophy. While the era previous to him was based on ideas based on and similar to that of Thomas Aquinas, Descartes set out to reconstruct philosophy from the basis of mathematics. I haven't gotten far enough in the book yet to find out what he does come up with.

Tame,
And that means what?

Yeah, most people know him as the "I think therefore I am" guy.
On that note, a guy at work today said: "Descartes said that 'I think therefore I am' but if you think 'I don't think' then that means you don't exist."
I couldn't even come up with the words to explain to him how erroneous that statement was.

For me, it is Saturday.
Dire it is to look into the warped inner workings of Tames mind!!!
If i didn’t have so much to read already, I'd look into it. (oh well, put it on the six foot long list . . .)

Wasn't Descartes the guy who talked about kicking his dog?
