Today was a great day. :D My second class (of three) was cancelled so I spent the hour talking to this hot girl that sits by me. :drool: I had talked to her on and off before but never anything like this. She's one of those hot girls that doesn't know she's too good for everyone. You know the type. Gotta love 'em.

I love the veganness at this school. I went to the university health food store- "Le Frigo Vert"- which is subsidised by a little extra fee on all our tuitions, and I got the following:

(I was in a snacky mood)

A small bag of Tamari Almonds
A bag of chinese rice cracker snacks
A bag of dried fruit: raisins, apricots, bananas, pineapple...
A tub of natural peanut butter
&
Something called "100% Vegan Banana slug!!" -which sounded totally gross, but turned out to just be a dried out banana treat, so I bought it. Cause, I mean, what a cool name.

$3.00 and change!!

I'm so happy. Almost as happy as when I found out this morning that I may get to keep an extra $1200 in bursary money I thought I'd have to give back.

i'm so bloody tired. i just want to go to sleep. and not wake up for a week. this stinking fax machine keeps calling my house, still! last week it called 3 times in one day, so i did *69 to get the number and tried to fax them from work, but kept getting a busy signal. so i called the phone company to track the number down but it turned out to be under a different phone company so they don't have account info on it. but the phone company person said she'd call the other company's 1-800 number to try to get them to do something, and she also said she'd fax a standard form they have for cases like this, telling the person to stop faxing the number as it is a home phone not a fax etc etc.

so i figured all was settled, then this morning, at 4:45AM (!!!) the phone rings and wakes us up, and scares the crap out of us (we're thinking it's an emergency cause our roommate is working midnight-7am shifts, who the hell else would call at that hour) and it was the frickin fax machine.

who tries to send a fax at 4:45 AM???

i'm very peeved. i was so mad after bf hung up the phone that it took quite a while to get back to sleep. so not impressed here

The beauty of living with a telecom genius, is he eats people like that for breakfast. He knows everyone there is no know in the phone business around here, and can get sh*t DONE <knowwha'umsayin'?

Last person who got his number and prank called him paid dearly for it. They called 4 to 8 times/hour for 3 days, pretending to be some ethnic non-english speaker. ("Ahkmed? -sorry, sorry.")Including 2am.

Turned out to be some bored university kids in the Student Ghetto.

His last words were: "Boy did you f*ck with the wrong guy".
Hope they had fun paying their bills the next month.

Somehow, some kind of terrible mistake was made at the phone company, and all the dirty sex calls to a local 900 number were re-routed to their house with reverse charges.

Their line was flooded with perverts, and charged about $900 within a weeks time. A very difficult problem to reverse, as well...
