The Trader Joe's stuff is actually Whole Soy packaged on their private label.

Now if I can only get them to private label the Whole Soy Frozen Cultured Soy...

I'll have to look for So Nice at other stores, since they don't carry it at Whole Foods. While I think the Silk and Whole Soy yogurts are fine, they are a little chalky tasting.

Mm well I vote for Whole Soy. Bluebery flavour, or lemon. I guess I'm used to the slightly chalky taste. :pAnd, Nancy's mango is soo yukmmy.

I'm used to it, too. I don't have much choice. Blueberry is also one of my favorite flavors, and lemon doesn't taste quite as chalky.

Soy Life, Vanilla Creme.
It's so beautiful, and every other brand make me feel sick from the flavour.

In Australia So Natural Yoghurts (and all their other products) are vegan, or so they assure me.
Here's the e-mail I recieved in reply to my enquiry.

Dear ,
Thank you for your email regarding So Natural products.
Our yoghurts are all vegan friendly as we use vegetable gums rather than gelatin as a setting agent.
We do not have a listing per se of vegan friendly products however they are now all suitable with the conversion some tine ago of our yoghurts,
regards

o'soy cause they're in little containers and they taste the best to me. but i sometimes use silk or trader joe's to make smoothies.

i was wondering earlier - a long time ago i remember making yogurt cheese from regular dairy yogurt (we just layered cheese cloth over a bowl and poured the yogurt on top and let it drain overnight), can you do that with soy yogurt? i mean do you think there is any reason why the results wouldnt be the same?

Well, I like Silk and think that Whole Soy is the pitts, but my husband likes it. Haven't seen So Nice, but I think I used to buy soy yogurt by Stonyfield Farm. Can't find it now and it was so good. Maybe I imagined it. They make regular yogurt.

I don't see why it shouldn't work with soy yogurt as well, since all you do is drain it. I haven't ever tried it with soy myself, though, but I make milk yogurt cheese all the time.

Strawberry Provamel yoghurt is a gift from Moses. Simple as that. I don't know if you can get Provamel products outside the UK, though...

FYI - Nancy's makes a soy yogurt that is to be avoided at all costs. It's NASTY. I bought a big container of it and ended up throwing it away because I couldn't stand it, even with fruit mixed in. :spew:

i like silk personally...it's made with organic soy milk, i know it's dairy free but is it really vegan? (it contains natural flavors) I would really love to make my own..

I've only tried O'Soy, and I liked it. It was a little watery, but still good.

i'm a big fan of the stonyfield o'soys.. the lemon flavor is the best... i like them cuz they don't really taste like yogurt.. and the little ones are really convenient for school..
