Oooooh....I confess, I am stuff-centric. But so many things have been making me smile lately that I've simply got to come clean [in some cases, literally!]

1. Kiss My Face "Conditioned Response" aromatherapeutic conditioner. It's truly amazing that I even made it to work today after I put this stuff on my head. I'm alone in the apt., showering, talking to my own hair. Making up little songs about how awesome the conditioner is. "Oh, sweet peppermint...how tingly on my temples..."

2. My new Timbuk2 yoga bag that I got for myself after finishing my last 60-day yoga challenge [that's practicing every day for 60 days]. www.timbuk2.com ... and the shipping was prompt, too

3. I just ordered the Millenium Cookbook from my local Snooty Cookbook store and I used to cook out of it all the time in my youth, but it got lost in one of my multiple moves and travellings. Eggplant timbales, here I come!

4. Amy's Roasted Vegetable Cheeseless Pizza. A prominent figure in the "I Ate Today" thread. I'm a big Amy's fan in general actually.

5. Fritz' fries with mushroom gravy at Davie and Granville, Vancouver, BC, Canada. When my friend found out these were vegan the drooling commenced and has not stopped.

What are the five things that make you smile? In keeping with this forum I think some of them should be products but we don't have to be ENTIRELY materialistic...

Tastes the closest thing to skim milk that I've found.

3) Boca Vegan Burgers
My "I have to eat in 2 minutes or I'm going to starve" solution.

4) Tings
Do I even have to explain?

5) Braggs Aminos
I love this stuff. It goes on everything.

6) Tony Chachere's Original Creole Seasoning
Goes on everything the Braggs doesn't.

7) Stevia
I use this in all my beverages.

2. My Airzooka. :D

3. The copy of Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince that will be shipped to my dwelling after its release *very soon* :) (does this count? a thing that I've yet to possess?)

4. The set of 4 way-cool glass bowls that I was given by a friend. Totally clear, flat on the bottom and very wide and the top.

5. My latest discovery: El Yucateco Kutbil-ik XXXtra hot sauce!
Well, it makes me smile, cry, and sort of want to run and hide under the bed simultaneously. Good stuff.

4) Tings
Do I even have to explain?

actually...could you explain? i feel very naive about 'tings.' i've heard of em before but i confess i'm clueless, but intrigued. :shy:

Tings are corn puffs, like cheetohs. The original has nutritional yeast so they are cheesy like cheetohs. The spicy have less nutritional yeast and allegedly some spicy ingredient, the sunflower butter ones are self explanatory and my favorite, the super veggie ones have a vegetable powder thing on them, pretty good.

My favorite things are (these don't have to be veg related?)
Benchmark DAC1
Chocolate (Cluizel esp)
Shun Classic Knives
All Clad Cookware
And my trusty out of production Wilson Pro Staff 6.1 Classic (someone want to loan me money so I can buy a lifetime supply of these while they are available?)

In no particular order...

Crazy Rumors lip balm: I am so in love with it. It's vegan, and the Coffee Bean flavour is so incredible. It smells just like walking into a coffee shop. Anyone who doesn't already have at least one needs to get one, now! www.crazyrumors.com

Vegan Gourmet cheese: I'll second that one! After wanting to try vegan cheese for so long, I'm just happy I can actually get it here now. Plus it's really good on pizza, pasta and bruschetta.

My computer. No explanation needed.

Yodelingfish homemade soaps. Most of them are vegan, the come in great scents and they lather really well. www.yodelingfish.com (she's closed right now)

Cocoa Camino 70% cocoa chocolate

Trader Joe's "Essential" shampoo and conditioner. I just started using this stuff a couple of weeks ago, and it's fantastic. It makes my hair fuller, rinses clean and causes people to stop and say "Gee, your hair smells terrific". (okay, so I'm old...)

Pineapple Orange Mango juice from TJ's. If I had to pick one thing to drink for the rest of my life..this would be it.

My crinkle cutter (http://www.pamperedchef.com/our_products/catalog/product.jsp?productId=31&categoryCode=CE) from Pampered Chef. Crinkly potatoes, crinkly carrots, crinkly finger sandwiches...crinkles everywhere. :)

The stuff I mentioned in the salsa thread..American Spoon's Mango-Habanero salsa. Yum.

Terra Nostra's Rice Milk Choco (http://www.veganessentials.com/catalog/terra-nostra-organic-rice-milk-chocolate-bar.htm) bar. The closest thing to milk chocolate that there is. Orgasmically good. ;)

and... to the next HP. July 16th is marked "Harry Potter Day" on my calendar, heh.

Yeah, but they're so much better than cheetos. The bag says like 6 servings -- yeah right! Those things are goners once I've got my hand on a bag. The spicy ones are ok... kinda weird, and the veggie ones are good but kinda powdery tasting. Haven't tried the sunflower butter ones, but, I do prefer the originals among the ones I've had. AND, they don't make your fingers all nasty orange like real cheetos. :)

I didn't really like cheese before I went vegan, and now I eat this stuff all the time. That's how good I think it is. :lick:

Well get going big guy, I'll definitely post in there.

By the way, you guys, the Millenium cookbook is even better than I remembered now that I'm like 7 years older and actually read the instructions and can afford to buy the proper ingredients. I just made Spring Risotto with Fiddleheads and Lemon Thyme and it was INSANE.
