Jennifer Lopez narrowly escaped a potentially fatal car crash while being chased by paparazzi photographers, earlier this week.

The stunning star claims she was nearly run off the road by speeding shutterbugs in Beverly Hills, Los Angeles.

J.Lo, who was in LA to promote new film 'Monster-in-Law', says her driver was trying to turn left at traffic lights when another car skidded in front of them blocking their route.

She said: "It gave me goose pimples. It was the paparazzi trying to beat the light on the same turn as us. I think they feel it's a game, like they're playing cops and robbers and they're spies. It's crazy."

Luckily, J.Lo's driver managed to get away without incident but the experience left the diva shaken up.

The brunette beauty said she didn't realise she was being followed because she tries to forget photographers are constantly on her trail.

She is quoted by America's AP Radio as saying: "I didn't realise we were being pursued because I try to block this stuff out. "It's the only way to live - you don't want to think about being stalked all the time."
