I wont give explanations because either I do not have one, or I will ruin the work. Deal? Oh Im glad you accept.

Regular ball point pens for majority of my work. Sometimes regular pencils. ( the color in those is color pencils.) Dotting was done in a micron pen.

that's f-ing amazing !
they're all huge too, oh i love 'em

do you like keep on adding stuff to them over time ? like every couple of days or so ? my boyfriend does something similar and i know he hardly ever fills in the whole page in one sitting

a little off topic but are you good at controling your emotions ? i'll understand if you don't wanna answer

i didn't forget, VA, i think this is strong enough to stand on its own in it's own thread plus it would be rude of me to say that :)
i encourage people that post some stuff in the gallery to link it in the art thread because it's convenient to have it all in the same place ...

Yes, none of the work is usually completed in a day. ( You wouldnt believe how long it takes hehe... usually 2-5 hours a day over a weeks worth or so. ) I dont do it everyday, only when i feel like doing so. I work very slowly, at my own pace. Filling a whole page takes up 30+ hours but most likely more.

I'd like to think im very good at controlling emotions. Im a very calm chilled out person. The only person i cant really control my emotions around is my mom. She knows how to get under my nerves in seconds. Around other people, its cake. I like to observe others as if they are a science study.

Your work Chelovek is worth every cent by having its own thread.

Vicky was so intruiged I reckon she forgot to tell you the art thread she created for such works ;) but really a thread of your own is totally worth the 'viewing seperation' coz you have so many that deserve to be seen all in one thread.

btw: one of many questions to ask, although not most important unless fussy,
is why you use a yellow jaded looking paper ? Is seemingly poor quality paper to draw on a thing you conciously must use in your opinion to get the effect of what you want?

Lol the yellow paper... I was attending a rehap type program and i would do my sketches in there and the kids seemed to have enjoyed them. ( thats where I started ' Ever have sex with paper ' ) One of the kids from the circle... braught in a box of this yellow paper and gave it to me. He said some lady was throwing it out so he salvaged it for me. ( it was nice of him huh ) I think the paper is not too bad in quality ( maybe because it says High quality resume paper... hahah) The other paper i have is brisol and its too big to fit in my scanner so i dont use that.

The yellow makes my work look interesting, white is everywhere. I dont care what i draw on really.

Silly reasons. I should probobly get some good paper..

Any suggestions?

yes they definetly look like you spend a lot of time on them

and i can't suggest any good paper in the size that you like, but do you think you would want one of these ?

something you can have on you at all times .... because i don't know about you but i lose my ideas all the time
the paper is really rough, and the sheets are thick, it's an awesome thing to have if you don't already have one, the ones that come with a rubber thing to keep it closed are even better

This did not come out how i intended. Pencil smudged so much so i just gave up. I still like it somewhat.

The note reads Murdered Wife back home, will go anywhere.

Chelovek, the "ever have sex with paper" one reminds me very much of some of the stuff I used to do back when I was 18. I too, would use regular ball point pens or pencils. No explanations either. Screw that bullsh*t "metaphorical" crap. Appreciate it for what it is. Skillful and creative. I think you are the reincarnation of me (although i haven't died :-/ ). Good stuff though. If I get off my ass, maybe i'll scan some of the stuff I did back in the day.

Scream... violent world. Started with some blood and ended up halfassing with somekind of crayon type pastels, another old one.

My style... i dont know how i get the things to come out to what they are... sorry. It just happends. Call it mind vomit. I usually dont think, i zone out.. ( if i were to try to explain it to you... id say its almost like tripping... almost...and sometimes i do trip when i draw ( not from taking a drug..) but only for a short period of time... its hard to control that state of mind but i keep trying even though i cannot achieve that state for a suspended period of time, i do however achieve going in and out of it. Once you enter and leave it, its easy to come back to it.

If that makes no sense to you, take some acid and read it again. ( Just kidding dont do that, it will hurt your brain. ) :flush:
