I wish I had the guts to try Thai food. Isn't it really spicy?

Some is some isn't, which is to say, you can get not spicy Thai food or even get the spicy dishes and ask them to make them more mild.

It was thick and rich and creamy :drool: It was a Sunset Magazine recipe that called for about 8 whole artichokes that you trimmed down to just the hearts, but since we were poor college students and lazy, he made it with canned artichoke bottoms that got blended up, plus sliced whole artichoke hearts (or maybe it was the other way around, this was nine years ago). I know there was some cream and butter and leeks involved too. And white pepper, but he always used black because he liked it better.

Ask them very specifically to make it VERY VERY mild... it'll basically be like chinese food but a little different - the Pad Thai noodles and such don't have to be spicy and they're SOOOO goood!!
