Mmmmm...Tofurkey....

Good stuffs. I recommend having them with sauted onions and peppers. :)

yeah. at first i was pissed, because i've been looking for buns. and i coulldn't find any without eggs. then i remembered ezekiel. and then said to myself, "dumb@ss, that's vegan friendly and it's in the freezer section!" then i went and got some. the end.

Is the tofurkey kelbasa good, too?

I just got some the other day and I so hope I didn't waste 5 bucks.

It's pretty good, but not really anything like meaty Keilbasa.

I've been making my own because around here a pack is about $5 and my husband will eat the whole thing! I take the basic recipe for veggie pepperoni from Vegan Vittles and have tweaked it to be spicy and perfect! I make a double batch and freeze it. I'm actually eating some right now with some pasta :lick:

could you pm me the recipe please... something like that would go wonderful on the pizza i'm planing on making this weekend.

I just got the same Tofurkey sausages today for the first time. With each sausage, (4 in a package) I'm going to make one of the suggestions in this thread, starting with thinly sliced on a pizza and ending with that wonderful fried potato dish that Tofu-N-Sprouts mentioned. A little fried onion added in would make it pretty tasty.

I'd be interested in the recipe too, if possible.

The Tofurkey italian sausage is excellent. We had it, just once, with pasta and a tomato sauce. It is a little pricey for the quantity you get IMO. Its also a little tricky to find up here (Canada).

I would post it here, but it's not mine, so I'll ask Berrycat to forward it to you :)
