By law all companies are required to appoint an independent auditor to go over their accounts and certify that they are an accurate representation on the state of the company. These auditors often have a cosy relationship with the company, and provide them with various financial consultancy services. For HLS, their auditors are one of the worlds biggest, Deloitte & Touche.

For several years now Deloitte & Touche have helped HLS dress up their accounts as if they belonged to a healthy company. They also provide other advisory services to HLS, which paved the way for HLS's move to the US and attempts at improving their financial situation.

The reality is that the anti-Huntingdon campaign has more effect on HLS's dud shareprice than anything else, but HLS has to be seen to be financially stable or it will loose customers. Those paying out millions to have animals tortured to death will not give custom to a company who do not look like they will be in businesses for much longer.

Losing a trusted auditor will impact HLS by making it look financially shaky. It will be another nail in their coffin. It makes it harder for them to fake the unhealthy nature of their future. It also makes it more difficult to bring in the new investors, large shareholders and loans which they need to ensure their continued survival.

We took on the worlds biggest insurance brokers, Marsh, and gave them such a hammering that only the UK Government would step in to take their place. We can certainly do the same to Deloitte & Touche. Only this time the government cannot be a white knight for HLS when they lose their auditors... and companies by law can not operate without operators!

Please contact them with POLITE phonecalls, texts, emails and letters. Explaining to them why their company has just become one of the biggest targets in the worldwide animal rights movements; why HLS has proven to be so much trouble for many other companies such as Marsh; and why the only way forward is for Deloitte & Touche to sever all connections with the animal abusers at HLS. Time to get busy again!
