Is this just my computer again? (pictures)

I was trying to upload a picture of my kittie, and when I hit "submit" it just says at the bottom "sending request to VB" or something to that effect. I thought it might just be taking awhile beacause my pics are quite large, but I waited over 10 minutes and it didnt do anything. It looked like it was trying to do something, but no luck. I noticed that it no longer says no limit to the size of the pic. Is it too big? is it just my computer being stupid like always? or is it something else?

Did you try again with a smaller version of the picture?

I cant figure out how to resize my pictures. Someone told me I had to buy a program for it. I dont know why they are so big to begin with. All the pics I get off my digital camera come out that way they are 2048 x a thousand and something, its crazy! I tried to resize them in my zoom browser program...or photo impressions (or something) but it doesnt work for some reason. I have also uploaded pics here before that were all the same size as this one, thats why i thought it was wierd.
I'm lost :)

I'm pretty sure there's a size limit but I would think you'd get some kind of error. I'll send you my e-mail address and you can send them to me. I'll be sure they're the right size and then e-mail them back.

Ever tried Picasa? (http://www.picasa.com/) I started to use that when win98 was being stupid about thumbnails, and it crops, resizes, edits and makes slideshows.

I downloaded picasa, but where is the option to resize the photos? It looks like alot of fun, and gives you alot of cool options to mess with the pics, just can't figure out how to resize :dunce:

Crap. Could've sworn there was an option somewhere in there. (But I'm using an older version cos I've not updated the software lately) Um.. for now, try this (http://www.resize2mail.com/). I've used it in the past to see if it works, and it does. (As I was googling this, the picasa ad said "Free Picasa software lets you crop,
resize, organize & more - Try now!")
